Part-Time Social Worker - Peng Chau (半職社工 - 坪洲)
***NOTE: This position is based in Peng Chau and requires extensive travel to Hong Kong Island. Flexibility and Adapability would be key attributes for success in this half-time social worker role. ***
Registered Social Worker (RSW) ensures our affiliated elderly homes maintain a healthy level of social interactions within and outside the home through own initiatives and more importantly, through actively partnering and leveraging social enterprises and NGOs in the communities. The RSW is ultimately responsible all social activities of the affiliated elderly homes per assigned.
Responsibilities

Activity Planning: Manage overall activiity planning through annual plan and HMS updates

Activity Execution/ Coordination: Host at least 2 activities (small or large group) per month. Act as the point person for activities involving external parties

Acitivity Summary: Ensure all activity records are complete through monthly activity updates

Resident and Relatives Relationships: Through individual activity update, quarterly notice and annual survey

Funding Application: Lead funding application and report submission
Requirements

Associate Degree or above/ Registed Social Worker

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Full-Time Enrolled Nurse - North Point (全職登記護士 - 北角)
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) is the lead care professional at a family-style elderly home with 40 residents. As the key partner to the Home Manager, the EN oversees daily nursing care, supports care staff, and ensures resident safety and wellbeing. We value collaboration, compassion, and a willingness to take thoughtful risks that improve care. The EN is empowered to lead change, foster trust, and co-create a warm, respectful, and person-centred home where safety and dignity always come first.
Responsibilities

Lead daily nursing care and health monitoring for all residents, ensuring medication administration, documentation, and emergency response are carried out safely and effectively.

Supervise and support care staff (e.g. HWs and PCWs) to deliver consistent, person-centred care aligned with professional and ethical standards.

Collaborate closely with the Home Manager to identify opportunities for improvement, implement changes, and uphold a safe, empathetic, and respectful living environment.

Build trusting relationships with residents, their families, and the care team, promoting open communication, empathy, and emotional support.

Ensure compliance with SWD RCHE code of conducts, internal protocols, and infection control practices to maintain a high standard of care and resident safety
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Enrolled Nurse Experiences

Associate Degree or above

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Management Associate
We believe the next generation elderly home operators are professionals who are data-driven while being empathetic. Management Associate would essentially be the first step to take on this career journey. The role is expected to get on-the-job training with the end goal of being the go-to person of the entire operations. Below is what we foresee "A Busy-yet-rewarding Day as Management Associate" would look like -
Commute to work: Check the app to review how the night went and abnormality that needs to be handled once you get to the Home. Reply WhatsApp and check email inbox.
Morning: Take a quick round and see how everyone is doing. Check with staffs on outstanding items and see if they need any other administrative help. Fill out daily ops metrics. Take calls from government bureau on data collection/ unsubmitted documentation. Finalize monthly staff meeting agenda for the Home Manager
Lunch: Co-host the monthly staff meeting with the Home Manager. Lead specific topic discussions related to operations data and ongoing initiatives that you manage. Well, then grab lunch.
Afternoon: Provide tour for a walk-in client. Have brief meeting with PT on specific residents' progress and update on the system. Collect cash payment for the residents' fee while coordinating with volunteers to play with residents' favorite VR cycling game. Confirm the inter-generation art therapy session time and preparation with the organizer tomorrow.
Evening: Chow down dinner at the Home before heading to health worker training that is 3 times a week and lasts for 6 months from 7pm to 10pm.
Position Requirements

Good commands in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English

Familiar with MS Office Suite and messaging apps

Be comfortable with numbers - No, you don't need a Math degree

Possess genuine interest in elderly care sector

Be empathetic - one of the most important personal traits to be successful in this role
